This project was based in The Wicker, formerly South Yorkshire’s industrial capital and home to Sheffield’s principal station. The area has become overlooked and dilapidated since the ‘reshuffling’ of the city centre and closure of Castlegate Market.

“Forgotten Wicker” was a location study and exhibition exploring The Wicker through the many lenses of Sheffield’s inhabitants. It was successful in assessing the area, its forgotten spaces and the opportunities they afford.
